WESWOO Shopify service FAQ

Questions about Shopify projects

What to prepare, how we quote, whether to keep the existing store and who maintains it after launch. Here are answers to common questions about working with WESWOO.

Start with the business goal

What should I prepare before contacting WESWOO?

Bring your current or reference site, main products, target markets and the buying or operating problem you most want to solve. You can start with partial information; we will begin with the current situation.

Does an existing site always need a full rebuild?

Not always. We look at where customers struggle to browse or buy and where the team is blocked from updating content. If the current theme can handle it, we keep what still works.

How do you define the project scope and cost?

We look at the business problem, pages and features, available materials and integrations before discussing the work and cost. Different projects are not forced into one package.

New builds, redesigns and maintenance

Can we improve only the part affecting the business most?

Yes. We can improve product pages, navigation, the cart or campaign pages without rebuilding the whole store. We check what your theme supports and how the changes affect other pages before agreeing the scope.

Who prepares product information, images and copy?

Share your existing brand and product materials. WESWOO organises them for the pages. Any extra photography, copywriting or translation is agreed before work starts, including who supplies it and whether the cost is included.

What should be ready before a store migration?

Start with your products, customers, orders, URLs and current apps. We identify the data and functions to keep, the buying flows that cannot be interrupted, and then discuss the migration and test approach.

Launch checks and ongoing maintenance

What do you check from the customer’s perspective before launch?

We review product selection, cart and checkout flows, forms and required tracking on desktop and mobile. The focus is whether customers can complete the key actions; the exact checks depend on the features.

Can the team add products themselves after launch?

Yes. We can show the team how to add products, update content and handle routine store work in the actual setup. If the current theme or apps limit that work, we can discuss the necessary changes.

What can long-term maintenance include?

Long-term maintenance can include theme and app updates, troubleshooting, performance checks and content changes as needed. We explain the maintenance scope, response arrangements and version handling separately; future changes are not automatically part of the build.
